Local Attractions
Pembrokeshire offers a wide variety of attractions ranging from historical sites, Coastal walks, boat trips, Wildlife + flowers, places such as St Davids Cathedral, Carew Castle, Pembroke Castle and children's attractions like Oakwood Theme Park, Anna's Welsh Zoo and Folly Farm, also Bluestone has a great indoor water facility called the Blue Lagoon with flumes, rapid river and a wave machine, fun for all ages.
Just to mention a few and all of these are surrounded by breathtaking scenery.
You can also join the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park footpath at The Point in Little Haven and walk along the cliff top. The cliff scenery is amongst the best in the country. The coastal path can be walked in either direction and passes through local gems such as Broad Haven and Druidstone Haven with some great picnic spots along the way. There is also an all year round Coastal Bus services specifically designed for walkers and sightseers.
There is a high quality golf course at Haverfordwest and a riding stables at Nolton Haven. Boat trips from Martins Haven take you to the Island Reserves of Skomer, Skokholm and Grassholm which are near by, where you can see seabirds most famously the Puffin, Gannets, Razorbills, Guillemots and Shearwaters, and if your really lucky you may get to see some Dolphins on route. Some of these birds can also be seen from the land or just by walking the coastal path, also popular for Seals, pups from September. There are many attractions and you will find leaflets in our cottages.
Haverfordwest has good shopping facilities including a Tesco, Aldi, Lidl and Morrison's. There is also a Londis in Broad Haven.
